GARDEN EXPERIENCE

Whether you are in the garden right now or at home, experience your own private remembrance service through guided prayer and meditation with original Christian music, art and poetry all through our website.

The community garden in Roanoke, Virginia, is a memorial for individuals who have lost an unborn baby due to miscarriage, infertility or even abortion. With these types of losses, it is difficult to move forward in grief.   Parents never forget the loss of a baby.  We invite you to come to the garden in remembrance.

If you would like to honor an unborn child, please feel free to bring a padlock when you visit to leave on the ironwork window in the garden.

We encourage you to take the key with you as a reminder of God’s forgiveness and faithfulness which He promises to all of His children.

The locks represent safety and assurance of the Lord’s love to both the child that was lost and the remaining family

Our Mission

The Remembrance Garden for the Unborn is designed to give women and men an opportunity to grieve the loss of a child, whether it be from a choice or circumstance, and to find peace knowing the unsurpassed love the Lord has for them and their unborn baby.

Over 65 locks have been left at the Garden Iron Window in memory of an unborn child. Women and men have shared how the garden has helped in the healing process.

Releasing this grief or burden can be done through prayer, meditation and/or leaving a lock on the iron window. Our vision is that through a garden for the unborn, individuals who are burdened will leave a portion of their grief at the Cross in the Garden.
